Median Barriers 

Traffic Barrier – Median barriers, also referred to as traffic barriers, are longitudinal barriers that separate opposing traffic on a divided roadway or highway. Median barriers are designed and engineered to redirect vehicles striking either side of the barrier. Median barriers are designed to significantly reduce the number of cross-median crashes.

Safety Barrier – Median barriers are also used to prevent “vehicle into building crashes”. Median barriers can be easily moved into position to block vehicle traffic from entering designated areas such as safe distance zones in front of facility or building entrances, pedestrian malls, store fronts, property, or critical infrastructure or utility areas.

Traffic/Pedestrian Control – Median barriers are also used to protect pedestrians, including joggers & bicyclists from the dangers of vehicle traffic by creating a physical barrier engineered to stop vehicle traffic. Median barriers can provide a secure protected pedestrian/bicyclist lane next to vehicle traffic.
