Junction Boxes –Precast concrete junction boxes are hollow rectangular structures that sit below ground and allow for easy access to piping convergence points. They include a removable metal access grate or cover and knockouts or block-outs for piping interface. Typical applications include connections between multiple storm water pipes. Junction boxes are also used for protecting the junction of telecommunications, power, fiber optic, and other utility cabling.
